  • Working on connectedness of students with each other and staff (building community within a building)
  • Using student data to assist in proactively monitoring the needs of individual students
  • Increased Professional Development of teachers to impact instruction of students
  • Improving safety at schools
  • ​Full-day kindergarten was added
  • Broad Street Elementary School was re-opened

More work to do

Great strides have been made over the past few years, but there is more work to do.  
  • Continue engaging staff and families in the direction that the District is going;  incorporate feedback 
  • ​Support the action plans defined via strategic framework to enable educational and relational strides for students
  • Continue to review programming and instructional practices
  • Provide additional professional development to staff and leaders
  • ​​Optimize transportation
  • Develop longer-term capital project funding & plans​​
